Ming Dynasty - ROM - Oct. 5, 2011

Part of the magnificent Ming Dynasty Exhibition at the Royal Ontario Museum. It's a huge and very interesting exhibit, occupying most of the first floor of the museum. Photography is permitted throughout this exhibit.

The Ming Dynasty was the ruling dynasty of China for almost 300 years from 1368 to 1644. The Ming, "one of the greatest eras of orderly government and social stability in human history", was the last dynasty in China ruled by ethnic Han Chinese.
