I met a woman pleasant, cheerful and full of life.
She told me a lovely story about turtles and the bottom line was a turtle feels very safe and secure inside its shell, but if it doesnt stick its neck out every now and then it will never get anywhere in life.
She also told me of her bout with breast cancer, a mere eight months after her husband left her for a young woman. That was 16 years ago.
Her devastation and depression were overcome by embarking on a journey for survival, healing and self-fulfillment. She said: I was blessed with breast cancer. At first, I was a bit shocked, but she continued to detail the gifts, the insights and the self-awareness received along her journey. Keren is the strongest woman I have ever met. She loves and appreciates life in a way that most of us do not. She truly feels and embraces the joys of life.
