I thought the whole suicide was kinda weird and melo-dromatic, kinda like the whole "torture threat" was fake. Now that i'm watching the 2nd season I can understand she has just given up on this world. Either that or she just doesn't want to be tortured by Miyo depending on wtf Rika was injected with.

@Deimos69r well the syringe was filled with the cure/vaccine for the hinamizawa syndrome, that she got from Irie (essentially the shots that Satako got), and her giving it to Mion(Shion) would calm her down, and stop the killing. But as the queen carrier, she doesn't need that in her body, and became weak when she was.

@bluraysemix I think she killed herself because she knew that world was hopeless & that nothing could be changed at that point, so the faster she dies the faster she moves on to the next world to try again
