@Coldsun3000 Because youre Alpha and I'm not, I'm ignorant? So I'd have to smoke crack before I can say that's bad for you too? I have friends that pledged. I studied this when I was in school. I know enough to know that a) most people see their grades drop when they pledge and b) there are several publicized cases of frat hazing around the country - aside from those that dont go public but everyone knows occurred. Undergrad pledging is just not worth risking your grades, or your LIFE.

I explained why it was appropriate. 2)I'm sure MLK's Alpha Phi Alpha (Mr. "NonViolence") didn't condone hazing or academic loss as part of pledging. APA in his day was likely a different organization i.e. I'm sure they didnt run around acting like monkeys back then 3) If this is a frat of "Brothers" they all share the responsiblity for tragedies that occur; plus we only know of the ones that went public there were many more.

@Coldsun3000 Say what you want man, but too many young brothas pursuing their education have *DIED* or ruined their grades trying to join a Frat. Some frat are doctors and lawyers, some are dropouts, some are winners, some are losers. The undergrad frats in general are simply destructive to black people - KILLING brothas, ruining their grades, then portraying the roles of "dogs", or womanizing "pretty boys", or monkeys - "Apes". Black frats need a LOT of work. I don't care what Whites do.
