This is the middle of an improv I was doing on a theme I stumbled upon. My son heard me and came down to video what I was doing. I am playing an RD Artist Bass guitar through an Ampeg V4B Head, single 15" cab and 4-10" cabinet with chorus effect. This is all unrehearsed---just spontaneously occuring. I refer to the piece as "Morning".

  • love it dude brought a tear to my eye haha....i got a 1978 rd arist bass in ebony what year is yours? oh yeah i love that tone, thanks for post bud

  • @CanMan105 That one was a 1977, Right now I have a 1981 CMT (Curly Maple Top). It was a special edition with body binding. Only about 50 were made.

  • @CanMan105 i had one. it was a 78 rd artist and it was ebony. bought it at a vintage music shop in 1997. it was road worn, had a special feel, loved it. anyway back in 2001 i had a friend that was a drummer, and we would get different guitarist to come over to his house ,play and have a good time. i left my gibson in his music room on a thursday night because i was going back staurday, that friday night the music room and another room caught fire. my gibson, our amps and everything burned up.

  • @ClassicRockfan79 Mine there was a 1978, now I have a 1981 Tobacco Sunburst CMT (curly maple top). That is a real bummer about the fire.
