This is stupendous- wonderous performance of a delightful piece. We need MORE musicians who have the character, thoughtfulness and individuality to bring the notes to life! I cherish his recordings of the Liszt Transcendental Etudes. Thank you for this equally exciting piece!

Who cares about the wrong notes? He probably did that on purpose to remind us mere mortals that he is also just human. Amazing pianist!

You can say he has lots of wrong notes and mistakes, but real excitement and tension coming from the playing is unmistakable. The way he builds phrases into larger sections, marvellous. My heart just jumps out while listening to this performance.

He is not afraid of breaking the rules to make it alive. With that kind of sensitivity he can't reach everybodys heart in cold times like we have today.
Cziffra is a genius. We all can see the centre of the target after his hits. A talent strikes the targets wich we all have known before. Thats the difference. Thanks to everybody who made Cziffra possible and that he was born in times of recording.

how exciting, its really his interpretation of this etude. Fun, playful yet filled with the grandeur concurrently.
