The way we get by series 1.06

1.06 - the end of what seemed to last forever.

Rachel and Peyton are both a mess.
On the way to the school game, Haley asks Peyton whether or not she's over her 'stupid' crush on Nathan.
Peyton tells her its not stupid, & confesses that before Nathan got Brooke, he asked for her help.And unconciously she used the opportunity to get close to him.Haley is shocked, and realizes that she's seen Peyton flirt with Nathan, and this time, it was when Brooke and Nathan had already dated.Haley is left speechless, and this time has no more sympathy for Peyton.
Rachel sees Mouth after the school game, but he just looks away and ignores her.
Haley tells Brooke that she's going out with Lucas for a bit, but promises that she'll stop by Brooke's place afterwards.
Nathan keeps Brooke company until Haley shows up.
Haley tells Lucas what Peyton has told her,Lucas is dissapointed in Peyton. Haley asks him whether or not she should tell Brooke, and Lucas says yes. She deserves to know.Haley is confused because she doesnt wanna lose either of her friends, but finally realizes that she has to do the right thing.
Haley finally tells Brooke everything, but Brooke is too shocked. She doesnt wanna believe that Peyton would do that to her.
Brooke heads over to Peyton's and confronts her. When she finally sees the expression on her face,she realizes everything Haley told her was true.
She tells Peyton that she cant believe she would do that, and that their friendship is over.

Later,Peyton goes to see Nathan. She tells him that she needs to tell him something,because she doesnt want him to hear it from someone else (Brooke.)
She finally tells him that she likes him, and that she's liked him for a long time.
Nathan told her she loved Brooke with a straight face.
Peyton couldnt say a word, and seeing her reaction made Nathan feel bad.
He told her that he's sorry and that he just never thought of them that way.
Brooke mourns over the end of her and Peyton's friendship.
