@67lawliet My teacher used to tell me to have a "yawny feeling" to relax and drop the jaw, which helps with tone. I suppose she is doing the same thing. :)

@AgnesRegina She's defintely one of my favorite voices. I have never sung with her, but have sung with people who have sung with her...and everyone says how down to earth and fun she is.

@baritonebynight It was beyond priceless! I was so surprised when she started singing her song that I just died laughing.... and her acting was amazing. Someone has it up on youtube, actually. I can't remember the title of the video, it may just be her name, but with a bit of hunting you will probably find it!

@AgnesRegina I'm so glad to hear that Ms McNair is still singing classically. I would have loved to see her as the Dutchess!

she looks like shes yawning most of the time. I understand the classical voice requires an open mouth but it just looks strange. nice voice tho

Glorious. Is there ANYTHING this woman can't sing?! I saw her not a month ago as the Duchess of Krakentorp in "The Daughter of the Regiment" and she sang "I'm tone-deaf," which is fiendishly difficult. It was amazing. I love you Sylvia!!
