Mashup: Pendulum: "Watercolour" vs. "The Tempest" (conjoined stereo-version)

This is the proper mashup between the two Pendulum hits:)
Both songs are suprisingly similar in the way they are built up, and have the same BPM, and work together without the need to change the pitch:)

When the vocals clash it sounds a little too busy but I like the tribal drum beats of The Tempest mixed with Watercolour. When the main bit of Tempest kicked in it sounded good. I too usually do mash-ups, I mixed Pendulum's Voodoo People Remix with Sub Focus' Rock It. But instead of just putting them ontop of each other, you have to take bits out and repeat other bits so they flow together. There were too many drum and vocal clashes I think with this but some of it still sounded pretty good.

Oh, yes. I'm very much aware of the clashing. I purposely left the songs as they were, because of the identical BPMs and musical scales, as an experiment.

It IS playing two songs at the same time, and that was the point. It fit, both rythmically and melodically. If you're really engaged in the issue, I suggest you do it.

It's a god mashup but the drums in both song counter act eachotherI don't see why you all are fighting about which game is better. Both games a great but there so different them.

For all of those people who are moaning about it being 2 songs dumped on top of each other, please stop, because sometimes the simplest ideas are best and as any mashup artist will tell you the hardest part of creating a mashup is finding two songs that actually fit together.

I do like it, however, the beginning tempest vocals are in a major key and don't really work with the minor-key starting part of watercolour. I would like it if you mixed it so watercolour would kinda fade out and be replaced by the ending synth bit in tempest
