Disneyland Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy 2009

Disnelyand in California has Space Mountain and this year during Halloween Time (Sep 25th - Nov 1st) themed it out to Ghost Galaxy… standing in line I was able to capture about 30 minutes of this awesome outside night show of projection and sound. The inside ride is even better but only got to capture outdoor video while standing in line. There was no real repeat point until the last part of my original video but I'm still playing with iMovie and didn't want to ruin the true effect by fast-forwarding the film to fit. I HIGHLY recommend getting a fast pass for space mountain AS SOON AS you enter the park. With this being a seasonal ride it is packed (120 minutes) and has been "temporarily closed" especially nearing the weekends. Out of the 3 times I've tried to go an ride it I've only been successful once! Luckily I am an annual pass owner so I have many chances; I feel sorry for folks that want to go but can't get in.

We hopped on right during the fireworks show so we only had to wait about 40 minutes total the second day it was open. I recommend for anyone that hasn't gone on this to go before the end of the month :)

most of DL's ride and ideas go to WDW in the end. The only difference is the size of the parks. By really, locals have a better time getting into a 500 acre park than a 20000 acre park...

Very intimidating. Just goes to show you that space is literally the top of the line when it comes to fear with the power and violence it contains. They did a good job with this ride as "Ghost Galaxy" it was the best ride ever!!!!!!!!
