Part 1: On 4/14/2011 I was filming the new Walnut/Silver Sands beach boardwalk in Milford, Conn. I ran into a older gentlemen who became curious as to what I was filming. I shut down the camera or so I thought I did....to talk with this man. It appears the camera remained on the whole time. The old man(60s?) turned out to be interesting. This man states he witnessed several ghost/phantoms on the island or Silver Sands beach and we also discussed some of the island's history....kind of spooky from the old mans POV. I made a 3 part video segment of the conversation. As I said, I thought the camera was off so the filming is just that and the camera spent sometime in my jacket pocket in the dark but, the sound quality is good.
I have no opinions as far as ghosts/phantoms or anything within that topic. I thought the conversation was interesting and posted it on you-tube. There are a million ghost & Billy the Kid treasure stories surrounding Charles Island. Here's a few more. :)
P.S. The weird thing about the video camera....every time in the past when I close the the video display on the camera, it always shuts the camera off. It didn't while talking to this gentleman and once I discovered this condition....I shut the camera as always/same way as I did when talking to the older man and the camera shut off. Also....after talking to the man I shut the camera off a few times on the boardwalk and the camera did shut off / did not record.....as it has always done in the past.....spooky?
Did someone crack one off at 5:14?
