Some tips for people with little photoshop experience on how to fit images without stretching them when resizing for theme making and wallpapers. The pictures I resized in this video are for the Sidekick LX, You can download the finished images from my blog.

most image editors should be able to do this, you can try GIMP as an alternative.

when i try my pic comes out nasty on my sk lx do u use pixels/inch or pixel/cm and what do u set it to?

pixel/inch, you probably have it set in a low resolution, try using 300 pixels/inch resolution, that works good for me.

I can't strech the image like that. I have no box going around the image.

Select the Move Tool and on the top bar make sure is checked next to where it says "Show Transform Controls".
