@mekissingyou yes, but wouldn't you watch the halftime show knowing Madonna was performing? just sayin... and Graham airs in America too! If Madonna was performing at the world cup in 7 days an American interviewer would certainly ask her about it. That's why I was just curious why he didn't ask her. That knee-jerk, passive aggressive, anti-yank thing is a little nuts. She herself is an American for Christ's sake.

@yngguy4u Very true, but (and I could be wrong) I don't think many people in the UK watch the superbowl. To be honest, I only ever hear of it when something offensive happens, like the Janet/Justin performance, then the Madonna one when M.I.A. gave the finger. I'm sure she spoke about Superbowl in her American interviews, as it's relevant to American's.

@cruehead1919 Errrr, this was translated by the people who did the interview, not the BBC. You can look it up on Snopes (who posted it in 2007 btw). The BBC researchers found it and thought it would be funny. The interviewer asked her in hungarian, it was translate by a "f...in living translator" then she replied in English and so on. The magazine then translated the whole interview to English which resulted in the funny interview you just saw acted out.

@The3rdHiltonSister Actually, if you watch it, she's under pressure from Norton, the audience and the other guests to "play along" by yawning and pulling the chair. She actually asked the audience to be quiet in an attempt to listen to what the fan was saying. It's normally Graham who pulls the lever when he get's bored, and he does this almost every episode. Graham Norton's show often make a spectacle of the audience by getting the guests to humiliate them, in fact so do a lot of UK shows.

OMG I love this interview! She's so amazingly self-ironic :) For all those who are upset about the last part, I was slightly shocked as well but it is a HUMOUR talkshow and I don't think anyone who goes in he red chair are seriou about themselves. Stop hating! Madonna is awesome.
