@sl9sl9 Well if you include the Carribean, Jamaica, Bahamas, Antigua, Barbuda, Cuba and Dominica all still have and use the DP. Also, I've never understood this focus on saying 'the western world' as if we are the only people that count on the matter. Japan, China, Singapore, Thailand and others are very civilized countries and they all execute people, pretty liberally actually.
