Over spring and summer I have walked many of the rural roads just to the east of Palmerston North, as I train for walking the Camino from April 2008. Most of these photos are from Turitea, Greens and Kahuterawa Rds.

Thanks sonner. Palmie gets a 'bad rap' but there are very beautiful sights right close to town.

Thanks Rose! They are just the 'ordinary' sights on a walk in the countryside here. But I relish just seeing the 'ordinary' green not too far from home.
