  • I'm sorry to disappoint you about the eighth notes between classical and Jazz music. With all due respect, if you made more research to that subject you would get surprise about how some composers, especially from Baroque and Classical periods, treat the eighth notes and some other figure notes.

  • @ian20n this lesson is not meant to be a college level course. Yes, you are correct, I am generalizing. However, through real world experience, I find it better to use general concepts with students at this level rather then filling their head with too much information.
