Ditto. I flew xc with my Dad in the early 70's and this video made me miss him and cry. Know he is soaring in heaven!

Did about 400 hours over a 5 year period with my father in out twin Comanche in the early 70's. This clip brings a tear to my eye as I remember those times, the sounds, the feel of a great aircraft. Wish my father was still alive to see this. Thank you.

Looks to me as if the approach was very flat. Not a good situation to be in, especially in a twin.
I love the Twin Comanche though and have owned four over the years including a PA39.

have you ever seen a ufo when up in your Piper and would you shoot one down so we can study it

cool clip. i've flown several times out of abbotsford with a buddy of mine who's a pilot. I'm not a pilot my self but i like videos like this close too home. i've got a couple of clips in the cessna flying around lower mainland.

Very nice video. What year? I've got some videos of the landing gear retracting. You are motivating me to get the video camera out for some good action shots!

I just bought a twin comanche, what a plane! very different than the piper archer i owned. glad i moved to a twin. the 2nd engine makes it safer, don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
Oh yea, the comanche is a lot of fun. Our planes are maintained very well so that is a definite plus. We also just got Garmin 530s put in our 3 twins which should be great for our IFR training.
