@VanessaMarroquinn According to the S80's manual; " Press the shutter-release button all the way down to start video recording. The camera focuses on the subject at center of the frame". "The camera focuses when the shutter-release button is pressed halfway, and the focus remains locked while the shutter-release button is pressed halfway. Focus is locked while recording". I do not believe there is a way to over ride this function.
