Shanti - A Journey of Peace is an expansive, collaborative multimedia musical production that explores cultural connection through choral music, movement and visuals. A pioneering work in the field of Indian choral music and a landmark work in the Indian American choral movement, Shanti explores choral harmony and polyphonic in several Indian ragas. A brainchild of Cincinnati based composer Kanniks Kannikeswaran, Shanti was first performed in Cincinnati under the baton of the celebrated conductor Catherine Roma.
