I am just showing an example since youtube limits videos to less than 5 minutes. you knit and purl as much as you want to obtain your length. You design your scarf with knit and purl and then when you are finished you bind off.

hello Mrs. M i'm a college student and i just recently started to knit again and i want to make a throw blanket for my grandmother, and now i'm lost! i bought her favorit colors and the right things and even the booklet to show me how but again...i'm lost! it's asking for a double knitting, which i have never done before! and it's also has to do with cable wires! if you want me to, i can give you the steps by PM and maybe if you can, can you do a show a quick video of how to start off...please!

Thank you so much for your instructional videos. I watched the other guides and couldn't see what they were doing because whoever was filming focused on the person and not their hands. Then I saw your video and thought, "FINALLY!!! Someone who knows how to film a basic knitting instructional video!"

You forgot to mention that the yarn must be in front for a purl stitch.

How come you show how to purl then all of a sudden when you go to bind off, you have like 10 rows?

Casting on an purling in essence gives you 2 rows, where do you go from here to keep making it longer?

Why do you knit that awkward way letting your needle fall and having to wrap the thread around the needle? It seems really strange and inefficient to me.

I learned how to knit three years ago, but never stuck to it until now. I forgot how, but thanks to your videos, I learned again! Keep them coming!!! :):):) Plus, before I watched this video, I thought binding off was starting your scarf:P THANKS SO MUCH!!! :)
