You got good fingers, but you're choking the guitars tone. Your playing is good, your equipment is at least OK, just relax some and you'll be great! Let some of the strings ring - that's what they're there for!
-
Raise your strings some, and don't palm mute quite so much, you're muffling the tone a little too much. Sounds like you're tryin' to keep from disturbing the neighbors!

been soloing myself for 4 years, and ur not to bad for not doin it long, just make sure u let your notes sustain a lil more with some vibratos, and make sure u get the complete feeling out of ur bends, rock on man
-
I just started soloing myself, think you are doing a good job. But you should really get a "real" backingtrack, midi sounds like shit!
Lots of them at guitarbt.

i play on the high input: preamp 6, master volume 2, trebble 4, middle: 6, bass 10, presence 5. but i turned the volume of my guitar down to get this nice bluesy tone.

Hey,well i'll try to give you some tips.First, turn up the volume!! You're soloing, feel the music. Second try to make strong bends. And keep on track, you're doing well. By the way,is it a jcm 800?? If yes, could you record a video with its drive?? I just love that son of burning tubes hehehe
