First written in 1992, this song has constantly changed lyrically, to reflect the fortunes of Newcastle United, and the length of time Tim Readman has lived in Vancouver BC. This version is from Tim Readman and Fear of Drinking's CD 'In Black and White' and was recorded in 1999 by the CBC mobile unit at a live concert at the Kitsilano Bowl, Vancouver with a short-lived 6-piece incarnation of the band. The whole concert might emerge one day on CD.
