And Chris' main influences were Jan Hammer, Chic Correa, John Mc Laughlin.... so it stands to reason..not sure who Wayne Shorter is, but Chris also dug him, and he liked Cream, just like EVH... go figure

Chris is great. Very cool lines, kind of reminds me of Jan Hammer. One of the few "over the top" guitarists you can listen to and appreciate for anything other than technical profficiency.
