  • This is why plumbers are required to have a license. You did NOT install the dishwasher with a dishwasher AIRGAP which is required by plumbing codes. It is illegal and unsanitary to loop the drain up UNDER the counter. A plumber would be fined heavily for that. Also the electrical connections need to be of the proper gauge and GFCI protected. Dangerous way to give advice.

  • the state and counties I work in this is code. SORRY TO GORE YOUR OX

  • Anyone else see the chick fingerbangin herself in the related vids?

  • @spikerhyno900 They sell PVC pipes with a dishwasher drain opening on it. Any hardware store will have it. You will need to cut the pipe to fit in most cases which takes 2 mins to cut with a hacksaw on pvc pipe. This is if you do not have a garbage disposal.

  • that switch under the counter for the disposal is illegal it has to be above the counter in allmost all states.

    espicaly in maine

  • @ArchieLovesMe It runs off the power generated by hampster spindles :-)

  • The connection to the garbage disposal for the drain in facing the opposite direction of the dishwasher in my place -- mostly due to how the plumbing was done. Will this cause a problem for the drain hose from the dishwasher?

  • what about electrical

  • someone please help! what am i suppose to hook the drain hose up to if i have no garbage disposal. right now i just have the hose sticking up out of the hole in the sink and draining that way. i just got an air gap and that also need to go through the disposal but once again i don't have one. so wth?

  • The Dishwasher is balogny.

  • He dosnt even go through the electrical connections, lame

  • @mrmeiii thanks dude for your feedback, I guess thats what I was trying to avoid getting the plumber to do the t-fitting. I ended up cutting the hot 1/2 inch copper pipe and using nut and olive fittings connecting a t-piece 3/4 ' for the dishwasher, it worked, leaked abit for the 1st fortnight but works well now. Thanks again
