2008 Nation Run: Buena Vista, GA to Columbus, GA

Three former college track teammates running across America arrived in Columbus Monday afternoon after a 33 mile run from Buena Vista, Ga.

Andrew Wahila, Matthew Durkin and Ken Stannard began their coast-to-coast effort on February 1 and hope to arrive in San Diego, California in May. A total distance of 2800 miles. To do this, they expect to average 25 miles a day for 116 days, with some rest days mixed in.

Joining them on their run Monday morning were local runners John Teeples and Reynold Counts.
