what about the setup on a stratocaster dip stick i dont seem to have a truss rod plate on my headstock. . . . .

DON"T DO two Quarter Turns on a Les Paul or you will be way way to far..
You need to learn your gear rather then presuming you can just turn it.
Yeah you adjust, it looks fine BUT give it 3 days to see really what effect your adjustment did for you. Take heed yes thats about all there is to adjusting a neck, but what if it is froze, what if it is already to tight? There is more to it then he says. Different guitars Adjust differently. Some Acoustics adjust opposite...

All you guys are bitching? That's pretty much all there is to straightening your neck. Its that simple.

this is worst thing you can do to a guitar,
what the heck truss rod adjustment by looking straight to guitar,
you must have superman' s eyes to see, haha
-
truss rod adjustment must not be done just by looking, what a fool crackhead haha
Isn't the first step , showing people how to check the relief in the neck . To determine if it needs adjustment.
He is making this up as he goes along.
Checking the neck by eye. Wow, is he taking the piss.
Put a straight edge along the length of the neck, and measure the gap in the middle between the straight edge, and the frets, (relief). Make very small adjustments, leave the guitar for at least 2 hours, check gap.
Just a bit of info in case this balloon ever looks at his feedback.
