Want to catch fish at Bob Hall Pier Corpus Christi? We are catching spanish mackerel at Bob Hall during March using a gotcha plug http://www.tx-sharkfishing.com/ . The video was produced by Christopher Deaver of the TEXAS SHARK FISHING Website. Bob Hall pier is about ten miles north of the Padre Island National Seashore, in South Texas. Bob Hall is famous for large tiger sharks, summer tarpon, kingfish, spanish mackerel, and speckled trout fishing. This is one of the favorite Corpus Fishing locations.

You CAN eat Spanish mackerel -- they are delicious. They can be fileted or cooked whole. You can bake, broil or smoke them. They ARE oily but the oil is good for you -- high in omega 3 fatty acids.
