Want to catch fish at Bob Hall Pier Corpus Christi? We are catching spanish mackerel at Bob Hall during March using a gotcha plug http://www.tx-sharkfishing.com/ . The video was produced by Christopher Deaver of the TEXAS SHARK FISHING Website. Bob Hall pier is about ten miles north of the Padre Island National Seashore, in South Texas. Bob Hall is famous for large tiger sharks, summer tarpon, kingfish, spanish mackerel, and speckled trout fishing. This is one of the favorite Corpus Fishing locations.

  • yeah you can eat them and they are very tasty one of my favorite fish to eat they are not bony nor are they all that oily. King macks on the other hand suck

  • i knew there were hammerheads out there but i didnt know they were that big... kinda scary cuz i was out swimming in that water just 100 yards from bob hall.

  • yes you can some people like them i like then on the grill with a little butter or smoked

  • yeah! they taste awesome

  • nice!!!!!!!!!!!

  • holy mackerel

  • those are good for bait deep sea. cute little fish

  • You CAN eat Spanish mackerel -- they are delicious. They can be fileted or cooked whole. You can bake, broil or smoke them. They ARE oily but the oil is good for you -- high in omega 3 fatty acids.
