Each year, hundreds of students graduate from law school wanting to make a difference in the world. Whether fighting for immigrant rights, protecting families from homelessness or gaining access to health care for the uninsured, these passionate new lawyers want to dedicate their lives to helping others. While the number of law students who want to do public interest work is on the rise, the job market is extremely competitive simply because there is a lack of resources to fund these types of positions.

Equal Justice Works Fellowship programs provide opportunities for these lawyers to do the work they love and impact communities around the country. But we cannot create these opportunities alone. It requires the help of law schools, host organizations, sponsors and others who come together with the common goal of serving the needs of the most vulnerable in our communities.

This short video illustrates how Equal Justice Works brings together the pieces needed to create powerful projects that enable young lawyers to pursue their passion to help individuals and foster change.
