Jon Gold Protests 9/11 Lies & Wars - White House 1-31-11

January 31, 2011, Jon Gold spoke about the 9/11 cover up, and the need to have accountability for 9/11 and the resutant wars and loss of civil liberties. Following this, he handcuffed himself to the White House fence. His protest was dedicated to the Jersey Girls, the 9/11 widows whose lobbying efforts compelled the 9/11 Commission investigation.

I'm afraid this type of activity accomplishes nothing. Virtually no witnessed it or reported it.

What was the purpose of this act? To raise 9/11 awareness or raise the personal profile of the participant?

I hope that the days of stunt activism are behind us (people being arrested or removed from public events yelling 9/11 was an inside job, etc).

Quietly sharing information with the uneducated public may not raise one's public profile but it will raise awareness that can lead to change.

@AidanMonaghan Why protest Jon's non-violent protest? About a dozen cops and a few dozen tourists witnessed it and so far a few hundred have online. Jon was not yelling "inside job"; he was creating a very different impression than those who've given Geraldo cause to call 9/11 truth activists "obnoxious." The positive comments here & elsewhere show people have been inspired. Good on Jon.

3 QUESTIONS 911 TRUTHERS DON'T WANT YOU TO ASK THEM:

If explosions were heard in the basement of WTC 1, why did the building fail at the point of impact?

If the WTC was destroyed in a controlled demolition, how did the nanothermite charges survive the plane impacts and how did the perpetrators know exactly where the planes would hit the building?

'stunt activism' as in Egypt no doubt began with people like Jon being wrongly arrested. WTF is WRONG with standing in front of the White House fence anyway?

The officer who wrongly asked videographer to stop is not stupid. There is an effort to get an internet 'shut off' switch. Citizen media is powerful. I like Jon's proposals.
