  • If it seems like you are putting in a lot of input in a particular direction, then try adjusting your trims to counter this until you are just putting in small corrections. Eventually you will be in control and you can try lifting off. If you can't keep in in the one spot, then you will have trouble hovering. This technique will save you lots of spare parts.

    I hope this helps.

  • plz can you give me some tips on flying?

when i go to get my Walkera Dragonfly 4 up in the air it drifts! and starts tilting either left or right?

then i have to land it before it crashes

do you have any tips on how to stop this

    plz tell me

  • What I found is that because of the thrust from the rear rotor, the heli tends to drift left when you lift off. So you have to counter this with a small amount of right cyclic to counter this. It is best for learning purposes to draw a square on a slippery floor, then power up, and without lifting off, just try to keep the heli in the one position, and with the tail facing you.

  • Great hover! I'm still trying to learn how to do that..As your hovering, are you using the trims or just the sticks?? This will help me a great deal to know. Thanks!

  • No, I only ever use the sticks. I only set the trims to stop it from wandering too much when I remove my hands from the sticks, one they are set I don't touch them.

  • Hello, is that helicopter the Walkera #4 dragonfly?

  • hover is easier and fly's more stable with the training wheels off... you're prolly well ready for that!!
