  • Even with my brothers upgraded GT2871Rs the car has loads more bottom end torque. The engine still makes the torque. There's a difference between the engine making the power/torque and the turbos doing it.

  • @timesareturning please keep her twins and dont go to big. keep the low end that the vg's are good for. u go so big then ur gonna spend way to much to build the engine.

  • haha yeah i have some plans myself. turbo's recently took a dump so i'm thinking about going with a single turbo..probably a t70 or somewhere along those lines..*evil grin*

  • Don't you worry! Lots of fabbing coming. Probably in a year or so it should be done. He still wants to see what he can o with the 2871Rs.

  • have fun fitting them in front of the firewall.

  • For what it's worth, this engine is fully built with 8000rom valvetrain

  • He has thought about it, he's pretty set on proving the potential of the VG. But chances are he'll go with GT3076Rs or Precision billet 55s

  • the gt35's are a bit too big for the vg30. even gt30's have alot of lag and you wouldn't have an advantage with them unless you had a fully built motor with 8000rpm valvetrain, gt35 would be even worse.
