  • The choice is so rich: Arrau, Gould, Rach., etc. and especially Gilels... but Cziffra is fabulous, entrancing - impossible to switch off until the very end of the 11 minutes (nearly identical to Gilels' timing).

  • Very stylish Beethoven by Cziffra. One of his best interpretations. Cziffra is reported to have said that he couldn't play Beethoven so left it to those who could. Perhaps he received some negative criticism and lost confidence.
