Bill Donohue, president of the American Catholic League, explains why victims of child abuse are a bunch of greedy, bigoted whiners. Attention Catholics: don't let this man think he represents you.

Bill Donaghue is one of the most revolting individual I have ever come across. If he represents Catholics then 'God help them'.

'God is dead' is a poetic statement. Of course by literal definition one can't commit deicide. We commit deicide by redefining God to look very human or defining him to seem very detached to the point of irrelevance.

By god I mean a figure we ascribe ultimate significance to and by salvation I mean solving the world's problems and essentially creating a utopia. It's too bad you are so dense as to not understand metaphor.

"And you're just a contrarian, nothing new or innovative. Simply boring."

I must not be very boring if I am holding your attention. Am I beneath you O' Lord of Hosts? To be frank I don't think you are boring but you may have to thank me for that. I have made your comments interesting.

Again, you're an idiot. I don't believe a god or gods exist. They are not necessary. And we don't need salvation, at least in the religious sense. We're all just human. No gods required. And you're just a contrarian, nothing new or innovative. Simply boring.

The question you must ask yourself is do you want humans to be gods? Is that the only means of our salvation? If so, what is the means by which that change occurs? I tell you, I suspect the process will not be pleasant. You will have a lot of people like myself hounding your coat tails with raging discontent and questioning. If you want to be a god, prepare to engage and fight the atheists who deny your divinity and authority.

It's simple. If we no longer externalize a concept of deity in something ranging from things as crude as statues to things as sophisticated as the Catholic Church, we inevitably set ourselves upon that vacant seat. Are you saying you are competent enough to be God or a god? Are you able or willing to transcend your humanity in order to save us all? Or will you be human again and return to either religion/fascism?

If God is dead, the throne is ready for you to vacate. Guide us oh holy one!

Banality is worse than idiocy? Interesting. You seem to exist in order to be entertained. Join the club.

And what are the implications of "God is dead" oh, great agnostic? I don't happen to think God is dead because you have to have existed in order to die. So what are these "implications" that pertain to agnostics and atheists?
