Well, it would be unfair to completely disregard what the players did in the game. sure, it's very variable, but frequently, that combination is required if you want to make it through the game normally. It takes a rather badass player to pull off the knife-runs you see on youtube. in the diner the explosion is player induced. in the news agency, a door explodes next to Nemesis if you hide. as for railgun, it fired projectiles, and the file on it called it a railgun.

@RPGTKingpin I don't count anything that didn't happen in cut scenes because the canon of gameplay is debatable. Though I did forget about the frag grenade, the train and gas explosion. I assume by gas explosion you are referring to what happened in the diner, yes? I am also asssuming you capitalized railgun to correct my remark about electron cannon. The reason why I called it that is because it shot lightning if I recall. I haven't heard any official account of how nemesis died.
