@VC631 bullshit many stones songs are open g but not all, keith his first open g song is honky tonk women and midnight rambler is a slight older than honky tonk, and when he's playing live you can also see on the way he's playing it that it's standard tuning capo on the 7th fret

Midnight rambler is in standard tuning, 7th fret. It has never ever been played in open G or Open D/E. This is the case with many songs by the Stones. It's not always Open G.
