Maiden of the Hospital Nights

.This is a 16 minute clip of a 70 minute short film I edited for Anthony Saladino.Its a whimsical, surreal, comical parody that skirts all descriptions I just mentioned. Anthony 's blurb goes as follows: "...is a independent film which spoofs the medical profession thrpugh one nurse's attempts to introduce alternative healing methods to her tradition-bound colleagues and patients. the comedy yields, hoever, to a series of tender moments as the nurse's most cynical opponents, including her husband and her mother as thproughly transformed by her groundbreaking ideas." In this clip Nurse Brim continues her questo find extraordinary unorthodox cures for the most stubborn and deadly ailments. It was a charming film with great energy that was an absolute joy to edit. It was shot in 16mm tansferred through various video formats to get that institutional CCTV look. Of Anthony's films the writing here has the greatest potential. Its mythological reach could be a masterpiece if redone.
