They're not really aliens. They are humanoids. And what is alien anyway? What is alien to us is certainly routine to someone else. If there were aliens on a another planet, and we landed there, we would be the aliens to them, and they would be aliens to us. But to be alien is to be non-relatable , unknown, isolated. The word you are looking for is extraterrestrial. Sorry for the over analysis.
