my left chestbone/rib sticks out and it's mainly cosmetic... My dad and brother had it and theirs grew away... it still gives me psychological problems though..not too bad, but I DONT WANT IT

@girlicious1212 I had since birth, and it has given me almost no problems health-wise. Only problem is the psychological aspect.

@zoomorphicrap first step is finding a doctor ofcourse. unfortunately those that can perform the surgery are pretty rare. but keep looking in i believe the cardiovascular sector

And where's the heart? Is there enough room for the heart?

@snoopy84able actually when I got the surgery for this the pectus was too close to the heart so the doctor had to make a incision on the chest and lift it up from there. So it could have been potentially dangerous.

@negapesuo i just heard from the docter that my baby in my belly has it to :( and i'm kinda scared of whats about to happen ? do you have problems with it

@girlicious1212 i dont know because i didn't have it as a baby. If you baby does have it then unfortunately hes going to be stuck with it until he is atleast 16, maybe even 18. Symptoms vary across different people.
Best thing you can do for him is to encourage him psychologically.
