  • You can make kheer just with milk, rice and sugar if want to add the extra flavor you may try cinnamon or vanilla extract as you asked.

  • Thank you so much Manjula Ji for sharing your superb recipes with us. When I watched this video I thought of Sujata, who made kheer for the Buddha after he had starved for 6 years. It gave him his strength back so it must be full of goodness!

  • Nice

  • Hello Manjula!

Thank you for your videos! I wanted to ask - can I use jaggary instead of sugar? If so which kind of jaggary? I also keep hearing I have to cook the jaggary before use?

    Thank you!

  • nice recipee

  • This looks amazing! I saved your website to my favorites. I can't wait to try it! : ) Thank you for posting.

  • It's all about the cardamom

  • Thank you for this lovely video, I am going to try this in a couple of days. I already know how to make curry chicken, I am going to attempt Pakoras, Kheer and Navrattan Korma!

I have cardamom/ garam masala/ cumin/ corriander powder/ turmeric/ and am waiting on Ajwan seeds, I would love Saffron but it is very very expensive.

I love Indian food, I enjoy watching authentic Indian women making these dishes, it is very helpful, inspiring and informative.

  • Aunty Manjula

Thank you for your instructions, it was very helpfull but I added a few extras.

It tasted real good, keep up the good videos

  • I LOVE INDIAN CUSINE!!!! I can never remember, which part of India has the hotter/more spicey foods? Is it the Northern or Southern regions? Thank you so much Aunty Manjula for making and sharing this video. I look forward to anything else that you upload.

  • Thank you so much Manjula! I made it and it was delicious! : )
