Projeto da arquiteta Lina Bo Bardi, o museu foi inaugurado em 1968 e é um dos edifícios mais importantes da arquitetura brasileira.

Realmente, é mesmo impressionante, essa arquitetura provoca sensações intrigantes, esse é o maior objetivo dos arquitetos"provocar emoções, sensaçoes e desta forma surge como resposta a necessidade humana, como diria Lina Bo Bardi, ela não escolheu a beleza e sim a poesia.

1:55 What are the glass screens for on the street level where the elevators are and the stairs? please. . Are they an addition to the architecture because of bad planning when the building was designed? . I notice that that eleveator doesn't look as ole as the building, was there an elevator originally or was one put in ONLY at a later date? . Nice structure and nice prominent location, it does look small in sq.Meters, though. . . Cheers. from, del-boy. .
