American Scientific published in 1996 his lactate threshold, tests done before Olympic , he was one the lowest of American, he was not build for stage races beeing disminished by his average recovering abilities.

I'm sure Bruyneel and L.A approached A.C and asked him to step aside so L.A can win the tour, get PAID by nike/trek and get more press for Livestrong.A.C said stick it up your ass"IT'S MY TIME"Contador will get 8 tours.
