@WilbertGyllenhal .. and everyone.....Velvet Glove was 2 guys ...me--- Ken Leray and Roger Spooner Singers and the writers as well..I sang the lead,,,and we used backing singers from the Cocomo Band for the record...We are English...and with me doing my fake southern boy accent...!!!! what can I say?.....Song did well for us across Europe,,,Roger now has his own bus. in UK ..I live on Cape Cod...thanks for your interest, everyone...regards Ken

I bought this single on a flee market a couple of weeks ago. Great song, never heard of it before... I can't find anything about this band on the web. Were they American ? British ? What did they do after this ?

@WilbertGyllenhal Hi Wilbert I composed this song AKA Ken Leray...with Roger Spooner it was a #1 hit in France...Velvet Glove's only one...Later I did "Together we are beautiful...and the music for Dr Snuggles amongst other stuff..second version recorded on Cape Cod using local musicians...and an 8 track half inch Tascam...we used on the compilation version,,w/ voice records...I now reside in USA playing a lot of Jazz concertsetc. regards Ken Badger AKA Ken Leray...email kenbadger1@aol.com

Bela música que marcou a minha infância e de meu irmão, pois na época minha irmã era BB de colo! Mas essa música faz nos recordar um período em que ficavamos passeando de carro pelas ruas de Goiânia com meu Pai, minha Mãe, meu Irmã e minha Irmã. Lembro que escutavamos essa música e muitas outras da época... Isso mais ou menos em 1985.
Videos como esse é bom sempre que seja postado aqui, pois muitos se agradam!!!
