I thought they served under the will of the American people? 75% of Americans support the repeal. 70% of service members in the military including their families is okay on openly gays in the military. @ToxicOdiousOne is mis using the term "ironic". It is a subtle distinction. What I find ironic is that he says he is not confused nor going through a phase, yet he is a self proclaimed homophobic person. He calls me queer, but suggests I have a son, who is also queer, who wants to date girls...imagine in your head the sound that Scooby makes when Shaggy says something very confusing. That is the sound I would like to make right now.

@jusitke07 When the stock holders of a company make a decision that effects hiring policy, the employer makes the change. The majority of taxpayers have been accepting of gays serving in the military for several years. Now even upper management is in favor of gays serving in the military. Of course, there will always be the minority view, the disgruntled janitors in the company. But fortunately, the company rarely listens to the advice of its janitors when setting the policy for hire.
