These products block and shield RFID or Contactless chips from activating. Secure Sleeve and Secure Badgeholder blocks EPC Gen2 UHF as well as ISO 14443 and ISO 15693 signals.   • $20 bucks for that sleeve? The materials to make it can't be worth much.

    It's more productive for facilities to manage access based on a system with unique cards. Employees constantly having to pull out physical keys to go in-and-out of various departments is just impractical. Not to mention, people getting hit in the face when they have to stand in front of a door finding their key and fiddling with it...kind of a liability. Face it, RF cards are here to stay...but I welcome security products like this.

  • And of course there is the bigger question... WHY do we need to have this type of identification on us in order to report to work when 99% of us don't work with any sort of sensitive information? But then again that's a why question - those are too hard to answer and besides this dude need-ta-get paid right?
