It's more productive for facilities to manage access based on a system with unique cards. Employees constantly having to pull out physical keys to go in-and-out of various departments is just impractical. Not to mention, people getting hit in the face when they have to stand in front of a door finding their key and fiddling with it...kind of a liability. Face it, RF cards are here to stay...but I welcome security products like this.

And of course there is the bigger question... WHY do we need to have this type of identification on us in order to report to work when 99% of us don't work with any sort of sensitive information? But then again that's a why question - those are too hard to answer and besides this dude need-ta-get paid right?
