My 2009 Early Oscar Predictions

My 2009 early oscar predictions for:
Best Actor
Best Actress
Best Supporting Actor
Best Supporting Actress
Best Costumes
Best Director
Best Picture
And Other Movies That Will Most Likely Be Nominated For Misc.

I know I am not a great guesser but this is a mix of preference and what I think will happen. I happen to have a preference towards Seans Penns performance in Milk.

Also, a question, will The Soloist be out in time to make it to the oscars?

Not bad predictions, but Slumdog Millionaire will win Best Picture and Danny Boyle will win best Director. Nothin on Van Zant or the Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Great Films just in the end getting beat by and Amazing film. Slumdog Millionaire.

Very true. I hadn't seen Slumdog Millionaire before I made this video, and my brother had hated it so I didn't expect it to be as good as it was.

how about Dark Knight as a best pic nominee? the 2 best of the year is CCBB and Dark Knight. ]

TDK is unexpected and

CCBB sounds VERY interesting

MILK and slumdog are great also. i don't know the 5th contender...

maybe you will know, does anyone knows who might be nominated? definately not AUSSTRAILIA. some think CHALLENGING or DOUBT.

I think The Dark Knight will win best makeup and i hope it will be nominated for best picture but I don't think it will win. I think the nominees will be:

The curious case of benjamin button

Milk

Doubt

Frost/Nixon

Changeling

Its almost asa if you were reading my mind when you made this video. However i think chris nolan shouild win for directing and still not sure about best picture, perhaps Milk or Doubt

I just really love Gus Van Sant as a director(has anyone seen the movie elephant..or 2:37 which I watched last night and isn't directed by him but is an amazing movie) and I think he deserves to win the oscar for another amazing movie, and I think Milk SHOULD win best picture, but I don't think it will. And I am glad to hear that we have similar opinions!

Can I ask why Heath does not deserve the Oscar? I mean he played the joker better than I could have imagined he would, he missed out BIG time with brokeback mountain, he deserved the oscar as much as any other winner did! In my opinon that is :)

It wasn't the movie that one, it was the acting in it. Hence best supporting ACTOR, and not 'Best film'

For starters, Kate Winslet just won the Oscar for BEST ACTRESS ... You predicted she would win the Oscar for Best SUPPORTING ACTRESS ... She wasn't even nominated in that category. You should pay better attention.

What's so great about The Dark Knight? Its just a really good action movie, but I wouldn't even consider it Oscar worthy. I liked it fine, but thinking it deserves that much praise is ludicrous.

Best Actress: Meryl Streep Doubt

Best Actor: Mickey Rourke The Wrestler, or Sean Penn Milk

Best Supporting Actor: Heath Ledger (he doesn't deserve it but he'll definitely get it) The Dark Knight

Best Supporting Actress: Viola Davis Doubt
