@boothesquirrel well, SNL lost Norm Macdonald. Aside from Will Farrell, I can't think of anyone funny on that show any more. Norm Macdonald was the last breath of a dying franchise if you as me.

@Spashaei There was a lot of speculation as to why he got fired. It was probably just the icing on the cake of many different decisions by SNL executives. The story I have heard was because Norm thought O.J. was guilty and used that opinion in his jokes all the time I highly doubt that they would fire one of the funniest men of the show in the past 20 years over some opinion about a celebrity murder case though. There was probably a lot more going on there.

@baldingmoose One of the guys in charge of the show didn't like him...I heard it was because he made a lot of OJ jokes and the guy was friends with OJ. So they just fired him.

@baldingmoose The executive in charge of the show (not Lorne) was friends with OJ Simpson, and Norm was just merciless with the OJ jokes.
