@chodykumbra True JKD maybe isn't as flashing and for marketing reasons MMA is a better fit. (same way as giving out belts). And I don't mean to rip on someone who may have to supply what is in demand to keep the doors open (and maybe further their own training). I'm a huge fan of Sifu Vunak.

@chodykumbra and others. If posts from my account came off as negative towards either Sifu Inosanto or Mr. Tucci I whole heartedly recant. I find it refreshing their are schools like Mr Tucci's still out their. I wish I lived in his area. And as far as Sifu Dan I don't have words to describe how much I respect and admire him.

Jun fan is a great art i wouldn't say that it is limited. In many respects it is very well geared for street combat.
For example why would someone have a 10 different responses, from six different styles to defend a round house kick when they could simply have two or three. This has scientifcally been proven to quicken response times. Jun Fan is very efficient in that way.
PS im a Vunak student so i don't totally disagree with you.

Dude hes pretty old. Why should he have to spar with his students??
Im sure hes done plenty of sparring considering his achievements in FMA and JKD. The guy is an insanto student, so he know alot. Why shouldnt he gain money from that?
On top of that I personally know a dog brother that speaks very highly of this man.

Thats interesting of you to say because in my experience JKD just doesn't attract students in comparison to BJJ or Muay thai.
I've noticed alot of JKD schools just don't seem that big so they are forced to have some MMA.

The thing you have to watch now is all the JKD schools poping up. So many are just using the name JKD to attract students. Alot of JKD and Kali schools are just MMA schools teaching T Boxing and BJJ. Then they have like one or two classes of JKD or Kali.
