@XtR0pX Yes, you can use a different virtualization platform, such as Microsoft Hyper-V Server, VMWare ESXi, or VMWare Workstation to set up your virtual machines. But, I do recommend using XenServer since the management piece of things are much better (and faster) when using all Citrix products together.

P.S. - I ran into networking problems with VMWare Workstation when setting up XenDesktop Express, so be careful what virtualization product you decide to use.

@fuckyoubitch2341 I am not terribly uninformed, but as I have stated from personal opinion alone citrix is better for the business environment. In fact, it is the preferred virtualisation software of many VPS hosts (like vps.net) for windows environments.

ehh... VMware is better
