Life was a lot simpler before Mei Lan arrived. Lun Lun and Yang Yang lounging around eating bamboo. Found this National Geographic video called Panda Love. They talk about trying to get Yang Yang and Lun Lun to mate, it seems Yang was a little bit shy at first lol. Rebecca Snyder from Zoo Atlanta is in the video talking about the panda pair pre Mei Lan

Yang Yang never learns to mate with Lun Lun. I guess that raising with mom for 1 year in non-natural environment might not help. But these two did produce two of the loveliest panda cubs ever by AI.

Wow. The male just kept on eating lolz, and the female panda was trying her best. I feel very sorry for giant pandas, and all pandas. They are my favorite type of animal.
