I find the Violetta a fine singer..the modern setting is disgusting..if I go to the Opera I want to escape and not see daily folks on the stage..might as well go out on the street and look around..depressing enough..better a slim Violetta instead of a two hundred pound singer..my personal believe.. Christine Schafer is extremely convincing

What an unimaginative stage direction: full of cliches, staignant positioning of chorus members. The singers are definitively good, particularly Schaffer. I would prefer a lyric tenor for Alfredo, though. I am happy I saw it, though, Thanks for sharing.
